MANAGEMENT TEAM

The history of SPES Construction Inc. is one of ambition, passion, people and teamwork. As a family owned company, business is personal. As our own stakeholders, we are invested in every project we take on.

Honor S. Mendoza, President and Chief Executive Officer, has led the company to excellence with sheer tenacity. His drive and energetic approach enabled him to establish important personal networks in the industry, bolstered by the mentorship of his late father Horacio S. Mendoza, who was a well- respected Triple A General Contractor himself during his time. Through the years, Honor Mendoza was awarded projects from top corporations in the country thereby amassing a wealth of knowledge and experience in a relatively brief span of time and establishing an identity all his own.

Holding the position of Executive Vice President & Chief Finance Officer is Macedonia S. Mendoza, a 1986 MBA Graduate of New York University majoring in Finance and International Business. During her 10- year residency in the United States, she worked in key positions for several Fortune 500 and communicating in a forthright manner companies namely PFIZER International, Citibank, Pepsi Cola Bottling Company and Castrol, Inc.


When in 1993, enjoined by her sibling to give in to their independent entrepreneurial spirit and start a construction company of their own, she rose to the challenge and returned to the country. Since then, she has steered the company to enhanced profitability and sustained growth with her philosophy of communicating ina forthright manner and taking a proactive approach to getting things done.

They were later joined by their two younger siblings, Honesto S. Mendoza and Homacio S. Mendoza, who hold the positions of Vice President for Projects and Vice President of Site Operations, respectively. They manage construction activities with the aim of surpassing industry benchmarks by excelling in safety, quality, efficiency and stakeholder relations.

SPES’ progressive approach is a combination of it’s management’s leadership, forward thinking and work ethic that have created a results-oriented dynamic. An essential component is the committed group of professionals comprising SPES’s technical and administrative staff that have remained dependable, resourceful, and most importantly, productive through the years.
