AFI has been implementing this program since 2017. It aims to improve public health by providing accessible health screenings to underserved communities. This initiative will offer a variety of screenings, including eye screening, blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes screenings, accompanied by educational resources on preventive care. Partnering internally with our Cooperative Health and Safety Department (HSD) and externally with local healthcare providers, private medical groups, or other like-minded associations the program seeks to raise awareness about the importance of regular health check-ups and early detection. Related to Kaakbay sa Kalusugan is the medical assistance of AFI in forms of financial aid granted to members or by consanguinity who are affected by catastrophic disease.
